Nashville Fashion Week! 04/03/2011
Hey everyone! Taylor went on an audition to be one of the models for Nashville Fashion Week about a month ago, and about two weeks ago we got the news she booked the job. We were told she would be modeling for New York designers including Christian Siriano and Aman Stovall. This past week was Nashville Fashion Week! We spent almost everyday in Nashville. One of the fashion shows was in a church, and the other shows Taylor modeled for was in The Pinnacle Building. The Pinnacle Building is right across from the AT&T building, and is the 2nd tallest building in Nashville. The show was on the 22nd floor. In one of the fashion shows that took place there, the models didn't walk on a runway, but they walked around the glass on the inside of the building, so the Nashville skyline at night was behind them as they walked. As many of you may know, Windjammers was Taylor's first movie. She flew to the Bahamas in late 2009 to film it. Many of our closest friends and family watched it with us. Well, we just got some HUGE news- Windjammers has gone through all the film festivals and today it got picked up for distrubution! This means it's either going to be released in theaters, be shown on television, or be released to DVD. Ever since the beginning, the people working on Windjammers wanted it to make it on television- even more so than theaters. Which would be great! I think Windjammers would be a great movie for television! Once we find out exactly which one of these Windjammers will go to, I'll post another blog and let you know! I have been very excited about posting a big announcement for Taylor's movie "Ryann Watter's and the King's Sword". This may be a surprise to most people who read my blog, because, most of the time when I have an announcement such as Taylor booking a movie, I write a few blogs before I post the news that end with "Stay tuned for my big announcement!", but, I wanted to post this immediately- It's such big news and I didn't think I could wait to share it! A much larger production company in Los Angeles has picked up Ryann Watters, and is going re-cast and then re-shoot. Gold Pictures is located on Universal Studio's lot in Hollywood. Jenni Gold will have the pleasure of directing, and Jeff Maynard will be the new producer. Jenni and Jeff are a married couple in Los Angeles. They are both Christians who absolutely love the strong message this movie sends. Jenni has worked on many films, and Jeff has worked on some very well known ones, such as: Hoodwinked, Spy Kids 4, and The King's Speech! Jenni and Jeff have made the decision to film both "Ryann Watter's and the King's Sword", and Eric Reinhold's second book in the Ryann Watter's series, "Ryann Watter's and the Shield of Faith" at one time! So, there will be two Ryann Watter's movies and they will be filmed at the exact same time in Hollywood on Universal Studios lot! And did I mention that when the characters of Ryann Watters enter Aeliana, they will become animated? Yep. Just like Hoodwinked! That will be so cool... Jenni and Jeff loved Taylor's acting ability and personality, that they decided to keep her as Liddy in the film (!), while other characters will be re-cast, as I mentioned earlier. Ryann Watter's and the King's Sword is a great story and will be a great movie when it's released (which could be late 2011 to early 2012 now). Taylor is really excited, and so am I! We will go to Los Angeles for the first time sometime soon, which will be really fun! That's all I have to say for this blog. I'll problably win an award for longest blog with most information ever! Today we went to Universal Studios and Universal's Island of Adventure. We had a lot of fun. I don't really have much to say because everything is in this video I made through the day. I hope you liked the video I made. And I give credit to Taylor for letting me scream her classic, riding on a rollercoaster line, "I'm losing my wig!!" :) I'll upload pix later and let you know when they are posted. Hey guys! We're back in Bowling Green! Taylor got wrapped last Thursday (for a two week break), and we drove home Friday! I surprised my grandma and grandpa! I was happy to see them and all my family here! One Saturday when Taylor wasn't filming in Mount Dora, we drove to Orlando and went to SeaWorld! We had so much fun! We rode rides, saw Shamu, watched a cool Dolphin show (Which if you go to, don't sit in the splash zone... I can not stress that enough...), rode in pedal boats, and ate FUNNEL CAKES!!!!! I had a awesome time at SeaWorld. Here is a random video of the rides, stadiums, animals, and overall park. I couldn't get footage of any shows, because we sat in the splash zone... We made it to Florida! This is our second day on filming Ryann Watters! We are having so much fun! The cast and crew are amazing! Here are some pictures--  Clapboard fun!! :)  Quiet on set! Rolling, Rolling!!  I <3 Mount Dora!  Taping over logos on my bike for filming. The character 'Terrell' uses my bike in the movie! I get to have a movie prop bike!! Haha :)  The finished product! Pretty cool, huh? Mount Dora is sooo cool!! :) I love it! Ryann Watters will be a great movie! Has anyone seen Taylor in the Bowling Green paper? She got most of the second page in the latest issue of The Daily News! It's so awesome! Daily News Interviewers came to our house and asked Taylor questions about her career. She did amazing! Today was really exciting and fun!! Our local news channel, WBKO, came to our house to interview Taylor about her new movie! I also appeared on WBKO with her! We sat at our dining room table and read the Ryann Watters script together! It was so much fun! Then, we went to our living room and filmed Taylor's interview for the show. This aired on WBKO at 6:00pm today. I had fun filming and watching Taylor be interviewed! Here is a video of what aired on WBKO today with us in it! We made it to AMTC! We have had so much fun! An amazing number of people know who we are. AMTC even gave Taylor her own autograph session. She gave out Ryann Watters books and bookmarks, and signed AMTC program books for her many fans in attendance. I was the one who made it happen :) I helped security, handed out books as the people entered, and opened and closed the rope for people to meet with Taylor. I even had contestants take my picture and ask me questions about being Taylor's brother :) I had fun being on the staff. Besides meeting Taylor's fans, viewing competitions, and having fun, we watched Taylor speak as an AMTC Guest Star. She did amazing and gave great advice to contestants as they walked to the microphone asking Taylor questions about her career. I've had so much fun here at AMTC. I remember when we were here two years ago, watching Taylor perform. I'm sad this was our last day. I love everyone here so much!  Taylor signing bookmarks before the crowd arrives for autographs!
