        Well you can tell by the title of this entry that today we went to the Statue Of Liberty. We got up and ready and hit the road to go to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. Well we got there after a maybe, 10 minute ride and went in to get our tickets, we waited for about 30 minutes until the first ferry came. While we waited we bought some pretzels and read what some people wrote about how their loved ones were lost in 9/11 - because they had a huge dry erase board that 9/11 family of victims wrote messages on. Ok, we went through security and got on the ferry to Ellis island. It had a lot of interesting things there - I will load pictures later. Then we went to the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island. The first thing I noticed was how big it was! It is just unbelieveable in size! Well we looked at it for a while and took lots of pictures. I got a few things like a coin from there and a little monument of the Statue of Liberty to go with my collection of all the skyscrapers or statues that I have been to. Then we got on a boat to go back to NJ and me and dad went to the room while mom and Taylor went to get chipotle to bring it back to the room (ok, Chipotle is getting really really really old now!) haha. Well we ate and we just hung out in our hotel room until now I updated my blog. Thats all for now!

                Sorry guys my blog is kinda late tonight. I forgot to do it today, well anyway today was a very busy day in the car. I got up at about 5:45 am and was almost up all night. Well, first thing we did was look around some to find a good restaurant and we finally found one - Cheeseburger in Paradise ( That's a restaurant that is appropriate in Florida - not in 30 degree weather!) Well we ate and went back to the hotel room for a few more things and then hit the road for Taylors 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 auditions. So we did all her auditions while I waited for a long time in the car. I basically lived in the car today, well we went back after Tays auditions ( I was like - Hallelujiah!) And stayed there for a while and then went out to chipotle to get Taylor a burrito from there. Then we came back to our hotel and I watched some tv and updated a blog! Not much happened today, but a lot did for Taylor! That's all for now!

              Hey guys! Whats up? It's John Mikel. Ok, now today we went to Taylors meeting with a talent agent in New York City. And then we drove around for a pretty long time, taking pictures  - that I will add later. And, I am gonna have more because I forgot my camera plug in to the computer, so the ones I added last time were off my moms camera, but I took them. We might just take the chip out of my camera and go to CVS. Anyway, we went to the World Trade Center site. And I took pictures of where the towers were sitting. I even went into where George Washington went to Church and I saw where he was sworn into office. Then we were gonna take a ferry to Ellis Island and maybe the Statue of Liberty, but it was too late. Well, anyway we had fun today! Then we went to Dunkin' Donuts where I think I had the nastiest latte' of my life. Haha. Well, I saw a few things you might see on TV, like a little street named waverly place on wizards of waverly place on disney channel, and some buildings that are on Nickelodeon shows and I got to see Wall Street Buildings that are on the news and took some pictures of them. Then we got our car out of the parking garage and went back to our hotel where I played on the computer for a while and then Taylor, Mom and I went down stairs in the hotel restaurant where we worked on some school work for about 1 or 2 hours. Now we are back in the hotel room and I am doing my blog and talking to some people on the phone. I am glad my blog site has gotten around BGCA and the town, and now I almost have like 500 people viewing my site since I started it. And also, Taylor has a lot of auditions this week, and she even got a callback for one we have already been to. I am very proud of her and I hope you all are too. Well, I don't know why but I thought I would write a blog today the size of a novel. Everyone is telling me that my blog today is like as long as a novel, and we are going to Red Lobster right now so I guess I will wrap it up now! Haha!

         Hello, well just like Taylor I have about 200 views today. And I am getting more! Yay! Ok, well today we got up and went to NY to pick up Taylors photoshoot shots then to her management company in NJ across the George Washington Bridge to Teaneck, New Jersey. While we were in the car after we picked them up we looked at them on Tays laptop (and you can look at some of them on her website.) Well we got to Chipotle. Yay Chipotle! (That is getting old. Haha.) We ate. Then we went back to our hotel and we were about to go to the statue of liberty - but didn't. But, we might go tomorrow. Then we have been hanging around here since Chipotle and Taylor and Mom just now walked in the door from going to CVS to get a copy of her pics. And now I am doing some more work from school. Thats it for now. Update you tomorrow!

Oh yea, Taylor has a audition on Friday, so keep her in your prayers!

          Hey guys! It's John Mikel. Ok, today we woke up then went to Queens, NY for Taylor's photoshoot, we dropped her and mom off while me and dad went around to look at different things, we went to Dunkin Donuts, and a lot of other places, then about 2 and half a hours later they called to pick them up. So, when we picked them up they were talking about how Taylors photoshoot went - It was great! Then we drove across the George Washington Bridge, with a unbelieveable view of Manhattan. Well, we got to New Jersey and went to Olive Garden, yum! :<) ! Then once we got back to our hotel we watched tv for a while and I updated my blog, and that is really all we did so far today. Leave me a lot of comments! I love reading them! Well thats it for today!

P.S.  Dear Dadaw, I miss my dogs. Please take good care of them. I really miss you too!

          Hey everybody, my blog is kinda late tonight, sorry about that. Just wanted to say I had a great day today. We went around Manhattan and looked some in NJ. Well, we got up today, went to a few stores around our hotel and then went to Chipotle again. Yum :<) ! Then we went to Taylors audition. Me and Dad waited in the car and went looking around some more. Then when they got out of Tay's audition we went to drive some more then back to our hotel and then we played Uno, pennies, sardines a few more games, I almost died laughing in sardines when I was hiding, They tried to make me laugh so I would give up my hiding spot. And I won a few times in a few other games. Then we watched tv for just a while then I started updating my blog. Well that is really all for now. Please leave comments!               Today we didn't do much, we just looked around at apartments in case we have to stay for a long time. We were around in Jersey City a lot and some in New York. There was a very nice apartment in a tower with a great view of New York City - But it was in Jersey, it had very easy transportation to NY though and it had a grocery store and a target connected to it and it had a huge penthouse. We looked there first then went to eat at Chipotle ( A very very good mexican restaurant I wish they had one in BG. But, it is mostly in big cities like Chicago, Detroit, Ny, etc.) After we ate there we went to look some more. I was asleep for like 1 hour though, when I woke up we were driving around NYC and we were about to go into a very big hotel, we went in and went out, we didn't look at much there, but we might stay there sometime, it is pretty close to times square, just a few streets away. Well, then we went to Dunkin donuts - that is right next to our hotel in that little town area I was talking about last time. Then we came here... to our hotel and right when we came in the door I was going to update my blog, It is kinda early though I will write more later if we are gonna do anthing else.                 If you looked at my last entry right under this one I said I am really writing about the 20th, when the date said the 21st  - I got off schedule. Now I am back on it so I am writing about the 21st right now. Today we got up and hit the road! I just wanted to get there already because since the plane ride I want to do that every time. Haha. Well we finally got to New York after driving through all the states and 4 of them I had never been to. I even learned a little bit of info. Did you know that when my family came to america they settled in Maryland? And that was where we stayed overnight. I thought that this was very neat! When we drove through Pennsylvania I got to see Hershey park. They had light posts with Hershey kisses on top and huge rollercoasters and I even got my picture next to the kissmobile! Then I loved New Jersey because on the horizon you could see the city. When we got to New York I was so excited and ready to get out of the car! We drove downtown and saw huge buildings and got hotel reservations. We went to our hotel and it was so cool because we are in New Jersey and we are like on top of a little town we have Sams club right next to us and lots of restaurants and everything! Well we ate at Red Lobster and went back to our hotel room and I saw like 10 airplanes on our way in to the city! It's like when one leaves another one is coming back over the horizon taking its spot and it is so cool to watch all the air traffic up here. Well we finally got up to New York and I am so happy about it!

             This blog may say that I added this post on the 21st but I am writing about the 20th, and I couldn't post anything because we stayed at a super 8 with no internet. Anyway on the 20th I woke up at 4:57am to go to the spelling bee,  even though I told you all that we were going the night before, we didn't. We didn't get done packing until midnight. I had little sleep as you can tell. That's so great right before a spelling bee! Haha. Well when we got there I was very nervous, but when we got into the room the way they had it set up made it so much better. I won 6th place out of about 10 or 11 kids then I was sleeping in the car the rest of the way up the road to the Hotel in Maryland. If you can imagine how tired I was! After I woke up about 10 minutes before we got there it was amazing of how many deer there were on the side of the road and up in the mountains It was even weird there were so many! Then like I said we went to a super 8 in Maryland and then woke up today!

         Hey everybody! I wanted to tell you about our NYC plan and everything else. I am going to the spelling bee on February 20th, we will drive there tonight (Thursday) and then drive to New York. Yes, It will take a long time. But, I think I might survive a really long trip in the car. But then once we get  there I will post more updates on what we have been doing, and how i did in the spelling bee.
