Hey! Well, I haven't blogged in a long time, but a lot has happened. A few days after my last blog about Edgar, (who is not with us anymore. We buried him in our backyard. Sniffle, Sniffle) my grandpa had open heart surgery and he is doing great. After that, my mom and Taylor flew to NY and lots of relatives far away came here to see my grandpa. So while just me and dad were here, he got me a little car. It runs up to 30 mph. Woah! Also, he let me drive our family car at our farm. (I am a very good driver!) Also, there is a junk car out at our farm my dad got when he bought the farm. Soooo I got a sledgehammer and beat the car a lot and smashed all the windows with rocks. It was really fun. Then.... just last night my dad was out at the farm and we drove the tractor! We have been at the farm alot. We drove home and mom and Tay was on the driveway! We were apart for about 2-3 weeks. So we went next door to grandmas where a lot of our farther out family was and we joked around. So they surprised us and flew back home. They waited in the plane forever going up there and coming back down. It was terrible they said. But we are glad they are home. Edgar! 06/10/2009
Hey guys! I am gonna blog pretty fast about my bunny named Edgar. Well, a few weeks ago when Tay and dad weren't home (now they are.) Me and mom saw a fat bunny and it turns out she was pregnant! The next day we heard squeaking on our patio and me and mom saw newborn bunnies. I named one Edgar. We left them out there and checked on them everyday. We saw their mom come and feed them once. Then one day when we checked on them all of them were missing but two. One was killed by an animal and the other was out of the hole sqeaking. And it was Edgar! So we brought him in and we feed him everyday and put him in a box and watch him grow. I will add videos and pics of him later. And we were supposed to do this excercise where we take a cottonball wet it and rub it on the bunny's belly until he poops. We tried it everytime on him and it never worked. So we just waited and we got home today and his belly was HUGE! So we did tons of things like soak him in warm water and stuff but none of it was working. So we finally let my dog lick him (Because a mother rabbitt would lick its babies for them to poop.) And it worked! I was so sad tonight because my bunny almost died but he is doing ok now but we gotta wait and see how he is doing. Thats all that has happened lately. I am so glad I have a bunny and that he is healthy now. I thank my dog for licking him and making him better. I added some pics of my dogs on the bottom of my photos page. The one that saved Edgar or A.K.A. Mr. Bunny is Megan. Thanks Meg! Haha. |
