Aviation! 07/23/2009

Helloooooo everybody! Today was really fun! We woke up, got ready and went to the National Aviation Museum. It is in Pensacola Florida, which is about 30 minutes from where we are. Once we got there we went in and ate, looked at different planes and artifacts from famous pilots, like George Bush and John McCain's badges for flying. There was a lot of pilots and soldiers in the museum. Because it was more fighter jets not all about commercial airlines. Once we were done we went to the gift shop and left. That museum and area is where the Blue Angels are based from. It was really neat, since I wanna be a pilot and all! Because I have 115 hours in the air!

...On my flight simulator, on my computer! Lol! And I have awards from having so much airtime and so many landings and takeoff's, my computer says I have a lot of experience in the cockpit!

After we left the museum we went to Target and bought groceries and me and Taylor ran up and down the freezer aisles because they had lights that turned on in motion to save energy. It was a really smart idea and a nice Target, it opened a few weeks ago. Then we came back and we walked on the beach with a metal detector and found coins and bottles. Then I found a few beach toys that were buried at the back of the beach and picked up seashells and kept them in them. Next, me and Taylor picked up a crab and kept him in another. We named him Gerald, then changed it to *Gerald*! Sound more peppy, dosen't it? Well, problably not since you are reading this... Then we went up to the room and got ready to swim, I called my grandma and talked a while and then we went to swim with a inflatable boat and jetski! Then we came back and watched a few specials on TV and now I am blogging.

So, as you can tell this has been a very full day... and week! The other days we just swam and build sandcastles and went to my favorite restaurants like Cafe Grazzie - an Italian restaurant, Lamberts - Where they play tricks on you when you eat like put racoons on your plate, or act like they spill a pitcher on you and the best one! Throw rolls at you! Yuppers, they bring hot rolls around the restaurant and you hold up your hands and catch across the room! It is like a food fight. They have one in Missouri and here. We also eat at Lulus - A outside eatery with games and the owner is Jimmy Buffets sister! We also eat at Francos, Lillians, and other good places only here!

And if you have read my homepage we are flying to the Bahamas next month and shooting a movie! It is soooo cool! But I am dreading the flight over water! I have prayed a lot lately about it.

Also, (Yes this is the end of my book!) Thanks for reading my blog, or book! It means alot! Please comment! And, I added a video of Edgar my bunny to my video page! It is getting more views everyday here and on youtube, I will post pics and vids soon like I promised on my last blog!

Wow, that was a long book! My fingers hurt and my eyes burn! Ah! I could publish this blog as a book along some of my other long blogs, and name it "John Mikel: A online legend, best of my blogs!" Ok, Bye!

Sunshine! 07/19/2009

Hey guys! Well, I named todays blog Sunshine because we are in Florida! I am blogging to you from the sunshine state! We are in Perdido Key Florida which that is about 30 seconds to Alabama. We are staying in Eden Condiminiums, which is a very nice place. We own a condo here, well, today we got up at about 7 or 8 and went to my grandmas to say bye, then we went to the car and drove for 7 or 8 hours to get here... It wasn't bad at all. Once we got here we unloaded the dogs... (Did I mention they were in the malay, too??) Which is an event  itself, and unpacked in the condo, and went to Lillians, which is the best pizzeria ever! Along with all the other awesome restaurants here. Then we went to get some groceries, and back here. Then we walked on the beach and swam in my favorite indoor pool! It is my favorite part about this place!

I will post pictures soon, and some of Ted and Edgar and even though I say that alot... This time I mean it!

I also changed my website... alot! Tell me what you think about the changes my website is undergoing here and leave a comment! And, if you have trouble getting on my website, its weebly not me. Its some kind of server thing or something.

The Wig... 07/10/2009

Hey guys! Well, I just wanted to tell a funny story that happened a little bit after the blog yesterday. I was in our attic digging through boxes because I really was not doing much. Then I found this wig. =) Haha. Well, I put it on and I thought it was kinda funny. So... I combed it (Because it had curls.) And brushed it the way my hair runs and put it on. And it looked just like my hair! So, I put a hat over it because the top had one curl I couldn't get out. And that night I wore it to my grandma's to see if she would notice. She didn't at first so I said I colored my hair, because the wig looks a little "reddish". She said it looked no different... then I took it off and we all laughed! So, The wig is great. And I just showed it to my grandpa and he laughed because he was in bed already last night. And I also talked to mom and Tay on the webcam. Taylor auditioned for a voice of a cartoon. Thats all we know about it. And she also did a JC Penney audition, and a audition for a verizon print ad.

But mostly I just wanted to tell you that my wig is fun. And next time you see me you might wonder if my hair is more red and don't worry I didn't dye it... I am wearing the wig.

Turtle Update: My turtle named Ted is still alive and very healthy! Yay! My shout out goes to Hunter! Woo! Ted the turtle!

Hunter is my 16 year old cousin. He is the one who found Ted with me!

Gone... Again! 07/09/2009

Hey guys! Well it is once again me and dad home. Yesterday we dropped mom and Tay off at the Nashville Airport. Me and dad waited for them to takeoff so we went and ate and went a few places in Nashville. And then we went back and we searched for an American Airlines M80 plane.  I love flying and airplanes. I have a flight simulator and many awards for flying on it. So I knew what plane to look for. I want to be a airline pilot when I grow up. Then me and dad went back home and about two hours later we heard them say they landed at LaGuardia Airport in NYC. And mom and Taylor always have some wacky stories to tell on the phone after their plane rides. Like last time when they flew down here and surprised us, they said their stewardess fell. Mom and Tay laughed and she saw them, so the stewardess grabbed Taylors heated cashews. Haha. Then they said on this plane ride, one of the pilots came out and went in the bathroom. Then the other pilot came out and was talking to the stewardess. Sure they had it on autopilot but shouldn't atleast one person be flying the plane?? I laughed when I heard that but I would of been scared if that happened while I was on there.

But, they made it there safely and that is all that matters. Soon me and dad will drive up there or they will fly back in a few weeks. But this time we promised to webcam everyday. Thanks for all the views to my website and all the comments you leave on my blog. Please leave more!
