Today our family that was here and us went to the city. We first walked around New York, went to Times Square showed them everything there. We took tons of photos and watched my Uncle Jeff "Ghost" it is a new sport. How to Ghost: Walk 2 inches behind someone and follow them, see how long you can do it until the person you are follow turns around and looks at you like you are weird. Ha! Then we left Times Square and walked to 57th Street to eat, on the way we say a NY1 camera and my uncle and Taylor goofed of in the background... it was pretty bad. Then we got to 57th street, walked in the restaurant but, it was closed. So we walked to the underground apple store. Apple, that big computer store. Basically you walk in a huge glass box and go down a hydraulics elevator. Very modern! We looked around and left and went to FAO shwarts. A HUGE toy store right next door. We played on this huge piano that you step on. Everyone gets their own turn, you just step on a ground piano and dance around. Lol. Then Taylor got called for a General Electric commercial. So we hurried across the street back to the restaurant and ate. It was GOOD! Then we got in two wild taxi cabs to fit all 8 of us and went to that audition. All the adults waited in the lobby. So me, Taylor, Hunter, and Alex stayed upstairs. When we were done we left. Then, we got another call for Burlington Coat Factory. So we walked to it. We walked in the room and there were about 200 kids. It was a mess. We FINALLY (as you see FINALLY is capitalized...) got out of there and we walked to a few stores. Then on the way back they saw the Empire State Building. So, we went to the top. It was cool. Me and mom have been up there but dad, Taylor or them haven't.... they loved it! Then we went to another huge toy store, Toys or Us. Lets just say it is so big it has a ferris wheel. We looked around some and then went outside. We stayed on Times Square for a while and then went to the bus stop. We rode back to Secaucus and ate at Chipotle. So good! Then we came back to the hotel and here I am blogging.

We survived! 10/01/2009
 
    We are in New York! I am in a cabinet! We survived the car ride! Some other people in my family is coming up but they got caught in some traffic so they will be here later. We left at exactly 5:53 am. We drove through the states we always do. Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania then we get to New Jersey! When we were pulling out of the driveway my grandpa drove by. My grandparents live next door. He was out early because he works at Target. Then we hit the road. We got here at about 8:15 pm. We drove by Newark Airport where planes come down right over you. It was cool.  We saw the Empire State Building lit up yellow and red for China. They light up that building for all the holidays. It's pretty. We will go to Times Square with the family that is coming up. It is my cousins Alex and Hunter and their parents, Jeff and Donna. We will see the ball and all the pretty stuff on Times Square. This was the first year they left up the New Year's Eve ball. It is really small actually. We say it drop when the president was sworn into office. They drop it on every holiday now. My goal is to press the button to drop the ball on New Years. Confetti is STILL falling from New Years. Its so neat, I catch pieces that are falling. But, thats all...
