Chelsea Market 03/10/2009
 

     Hey guys! Well, my blog is kinda late so sorry! Today we went to look at apartments and then to Taylor's auditions. She said she did really good. YEAH! The apartments we looked at were on the Hudson River. Some of them were really neat. Some of them were not. Well, after looking at the apts. we rode on the PATH Train (subway) under the Hudson River and through Ground Zero right through the construction site of the new Freedom Tower. It was kinda scary, but fun at the same time. We then caught a taxi, not the cash cab, and made it to Taylor's audition right on time. After that we went to Chelsea Market. It is a really cool old warehouse that has been turned into a mall with lots of bakerys. I got a cupcake from Ruthy's Bakery. It was really cool.... it had Big Bird on it. Ha-Ha. They had lots of really neat cakes. I think they were neater than Ace Of Cakes. There was one that looked like a stack of diapers for a baby shower, and another one was a full wedding dress! There was also one that had a lot of Webkins on it. They were really fun to look at; and really good to eat too!

    Well it is kinda late so I have to go to bed now. We are watching Law & Order now. They film these in NY. We saw one being filmed one day by the Flat Iron Bldg. Tomorrow, Chelsea Market is going to be closed because they are filming a new Universal Studios movie there. Wonder who will be in the movie? Oh well...... keep reading my blog! JOHN MIKEL, THE BAKERY'S REALLY SOUND NEAT. I KNOW YOU ENJOY TASTING ALL THE DIFFERENT TREATS. I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD WANT TO GO ON THE PATH TRAIN OR NOT. I THINK IT WOULD BE SCARY TOO. I'LL BET YOU REALLY ENJOY SEEING PLACES WHERE FILMS ARE MADE. I LIKE LAW AND ORDER SERIES AND WATCH THEM OFTEN TOO WHEN I'M NOT WATCHING CSI. I'D BETTER GET BACK TO WORK. John Mikel! I really related to your CVS Story! Sounds just like what would happen to us! I'm proud of your mom for sticking in there! I'm glad you guys showed them that Kentucky Folk can work computers too! As for your DAD... sounds like he's being a good Samaritan (handing out pizza) and a good husband (flowers for your mom)! Way to go DAD! Lastly... I'm sooo happy you didn't eat the cake with diapers on it. That could have been very MESSY! haha! Have a GREAT Day John Mikel!

Hi John, I love reading your blogs, they make me think I am right there with you. I don't know about the Path train. that might make me nervous,I would really liked to have seen all those pretty cakes.

Hi John,
Very cool that you got to see the show being filmed. That would be a lot of fun! We're missing you here at BGCA. Loren gave everyone in class chocolate today, so I took enough for me and you both.
