Holy Cannoli! 09/19/2009

Hey guys! It's John! We are back home now. But, I never blogged for a few days. Here is the news - We went to one of my favorite TV shows set or business! Cake Boss! We went to the real bakery on tlc show cake boss! It is one of my favorite shows and channels, I looked through the door behind the counter and saw where they film. like the staircase and a few other things. They had atleast 500 desserts! We got pumpkin pies, cookies and the best chocolate covered strawberries ever! And the best cannoli ever! It is their specialty. I asked if buddy was there and she said no... no wonder how many people ask a day. I met his sister. Got a t-shirt from him and saw the table they sit at to plan a cake. At the beginning of an episode. Then we left and went to New York for a pilot for HBO Taylor went to audition for. Then we went to a park and I petted squirrels and I fed them.

But, when we first left cake boss, we saw a man in white in a white van like they drive with dark hair. So, we think we saw buddy. Next time we go we will walk dow the alley to find them. Yea, call us creepers but we are big fans and from Kentucky. Lol.

Anywhoo, It was fun and sooo cool!

John Mikel, The Bakery sounds like a really good place to visit. I'm so glad that you got to go there. I can imagine how good the things you bought tasted, it makes me hungry just to think about all the food. You probably enjoyed feeding the squirrels in the park also. I hope you are feeling better now. I like hearing from you.
Love, Dadaw

Hey John,

I love that show. Did you see the one that Bridezilla messed up his cake. I think I would have stuck her face in it. But the good person buddy is he made another one because the mom was such a good customer. Tell your mom I will remember that next time a customer gets under my skin. I bet it was so cool to actually see the bakery. I am hungry thinking about it. yum yum! Tell Taylor I didn't see her on the academy awards last night. Was she not there. ha ha.

John, my Password partner! I think I finally figured out how to post something to you (now that you are probably back in Bowling Green). I thought about you this morning when I was coaching the homeschool speech team because one of the little guys reminded me of you. He's not as CUTE of course.... I sure do miss you, Taylor and your mom and dad. Maybe you can make it up one day to visit on campus. I'll spring for some lunch!

It sounds as if you are getting a great education via many valuable experiences. Wish I were there with you!
