Looks like we are snowed in for a few days. If you have seen the blizzard of 2009 as they call it, that is exactly where we drive home. We decided to pack yesterday so we could go home before the storm. We got about 3 hours out and Taylor's manager called and said she booked Saturday Night Live. We turned around and finally got to the hotel in NJ. We ran to Target to buy the things Taylor needed for the shoot and Dad and Taylor went to the city on the bus while mom and  me unpacked everything in the car. So, Tay got to 30 Rockefeller Center at 9:45pm (the time they were supposed be there) and  went to Studio 8-H! Tay saw the whole cast and filled out all her paperwork. Then, they cancelled the skit. At least she is on SNL payroll and will be in the show next season. She is so excited.

So, they got back to the hotel and we are now snowed in and will leave tomorrow maybe. Atleast we are here and not in the heart of the storm stuck on the interstate.

Hi John, I am so happy that you all are at the hotel and not on the road home, the road are suppose to be very bad, I love all the beautiful pictures that you posted it is like a fairy tale world at Christmas where you are. Love you and hope the roads clear soon so you can get home, then it will be Christmas for sure.

I am really glad we turned around the other night! I thank God for taking us safely back to New York! Even though we are stuck here for a few more days, at least I am here with you!

Hey John Mikel! Your grandmother Judy told me today all about your trip and Taylor's SNL skit. How cool that she got to meet all the cast and will get to be in a future show! It was super cold and rainy here today. I'm glad you all had a reason to turn around. God was watching over you! Today we had our big birthday bash at our office. 5 years as your neighbors! We are so glad we have you and your family as our neighbors and friends! We will pray for safe travels home for you all.
